Good morning from a sunny Dublin, well I thought I had to say that while I canas it will probably
be gray and raining five minutes from now.
This little ATC (Artist Trading Card) which measures 2 1/2 inches by 3 inches was
made for my friend and sister-in law Claire and the theme was spring.
It should have been done a few weeks ago, but life got in the way, you know
how it does.
Well here is how it was made and what I used, I do hope you like it and don’t forget to let
me know what you think ?.
I hope you have a day filled with sunshine, flowers and all good things.
Stamp the tree and nest ( Clarity Stamp called Nest) onto porous white card stock. Mask off the stamp. Tear some copy paper with little curves and using a small sponge, curved into a mushroom shape, gently dab onto the paper pulling off onto the card to make the clouds using adirondack cloudy blue. Wait till everything is dry. Remove the mask and colour in the flowers and leaves, then using a versamark pen, paint on the versamark on the branch and flowers and then cover with clear embossing powder.
Next stamp the chicks onto yellow card stock and the nest onto white cut out both. Colour in the twigs in the nest with a selection of promarkers using the darkest drown around all the cut edges of the nest. Using an embossing tool and a hard sponge mat,rub on the back of the birds and the nest in small circular motions until each item is domed. Using pinflair glue, glue the chicks and then the nest, which will be in 3 pieces into place.
Bye for now and thanks for reading.
