Hope you are having a great Friday.
Today I thought I would share my latest project..
I purchased a mdf box from Tonic.
I had seen them decorated with papers and thought I would paint instead.
My idea was that it would be perfect for my dressing table, to hold some of my fine necklaces and earings.
Following the instructions the box was easy to make up, all it required was a little glue.
I made the boxes at the end 3 wide to hold one or two chunky necklaces.
So here it is glued together.
Next, I painted it with Gesso and some pink chalk paint.
I then painted the small panels for the front of the little drawers turquoise and added a little
to the sides and top, together with a little white to tone it down.
Nest I used one of my favourite Clarity Stencils Leafy Swirl, love both the stamps and stencil, but this time I used the stencil with some white gesso on the front of the drawers and the sides. I also used turquoise on the sides
Well that what I have been up to. Hope you like it.
Don’t forget to leave me a comment and say hi.
Also remember the Clarity Blog Challenge this month is anything goes, hope you will be taking part, the link is here
